Malaysian business looks at Turkmenistan market: meeting in Kuala Lumpur
14.06.2025 | 23:35 |The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Malaysia held a meeting with representatives of the Malaysian Consortium of Medium-Sized Businesses, aimed at significantly expanding trade and economic cooperation. The goal of the event is not just to strengthen existing ties, but also to actively seek new areas and opportunities for mutually beneficial partnership.
The meeting was attended by head of the consortium Martin Ang, as well as the heads of such well-known Malaysian companies as Intelligent PIE Consulting Sdn Bhd, fast food chain Marrybrown, biscuit manufacturer Julie's, a major supplier of packaging solutions Mega Fortris Berhad and the chemical company i-Chem Solution Sdn Bhd.
During the dialogue, representatives of Malaysian companies provided detailed information about their products, expressing clear interest in cooperation with Turkmen entrepreneurs and entering the domestic market of Turkmenistan.
As Ambassador of Turkmenistan Mukhametniyaz Mashalov noted, there are huge opportunities for deepening trade and economic cooperation and mutual ties between the business circles of the two countries. This meeting lays the foundation for future joint projects and strengthening economic bridges between Turkmenistan and Malaysia.
