Oriented on making people closer

Samsung has unveiled a major update to its Galaxy AI suite, coinciding with the launch of its foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. These new functionalities will become available on S- and Z-series devices upon installation of OneUI 8, based on Android 15 and 16.

Key new features include:

• Background Gemini Operations: Google's Gemini AI model can now analyze screen content in real-time, providing users with relevant hints and recommendations for open applications, files, or photos.

• Gemini Live: This feature enables Gemini to analyze images from the camera in real-time, for instance, deciphering clothing labels or suggesting solutions for stains. It also supports simultaneous operation with other applications.

• "Noise Removal" in Camera: Previously available only in the "Gallery," this function now allows real-time video processing during recording, isolating desired sounds.

• "Portrait Studio": Galaxy AI can now generate portraits in four distinct styles from selected frames featuring people or animals.

• "Smart Editing": The "Gallery" application now includes the ability to reconstruct missing objects, adapting textures, lighting, and perspective (e.g., redrawing a bitten apple to appear whole).

The new Galaxy AI features are already available on the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, and will soon be rolled out to the Galaxy S25 lineup. Most options function without restrictions in Russia and support the Russian language.
