This applies to all areas, including the especially important social and humanitarian one.
The parties discussed in detail the development of cooperation in such key areas as science, education, youth policy, healthcare and sports. It was emphasized that active cooperation in these areas not only strengthens friendship, but also creates real, practical ties between the peoples of the two countries. Specifically, ideas were considered on:
• Deepening academic and scientific contacts between universities and research centers.
• Expanding student and teacher exchanges, which will allow young professionals to gain new experience, and educational institutions to exchange best practices.
• Organizing joint youth forums and sports events that promote direct communication and strengthen the bonds of friendship between young generations.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Here, proposals were made on:
• Expanding scientific and practical interaction between hospitals and clinics.
• Establishing an exchange of experience between doctors, which will allow the introduction of advanced treatment methods.
• Creating joint ventures for the production of medicines and medical equipment in both countries. This is a step towards ensuring pharmaceutical safety and reducing dependence on imports.
International Agenda and Strategic Dialogue
In addition to social and humanitarian issues, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the political, diplomatic, trade and economic spheres were discussed at the meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The parties particularly noted the fruitful nature of interaction within international organizations, in particular, the UN, which indicates common approaches to global challenges.
