 The President of Turkmenistan Expressed Condolences to Russia in Connection with the Plane Crash in the Amur Region

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent deep condolences to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in connection with the tragic crash of the passenger plane of the Angara airline. The head of Turkmenistan expressed sincere sympathy in connection with the deaths of people in the plane crash that occurred in the Amur Region.

On behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, President Berdimuhamedov conveyed words of deep sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims.


On July 24, a civilian plane crashed in Russia. The wreckage of the An-24 aircraft, which crashed on a mountainside 15 kilometers from the city of Tinda in the Amur Region, has been found. All 49 people on board the plane died.
