21.08.2025 | 17:00 |Microsoft has announced that it will end support for a number of its products and services in 2025. The most significant news is the end of support for the Windows 10 operating system. This will affect all of its versions: Home, Pro, Enterprise, and Education.
The official end-of-support date for Windows 10 is October 14, 2025.
In addition to Windows 10, support will also cease for many other popular products in 2025, including:
• Certain versions of Windows 11 (including Enterprise, Education, and IoT Enterprise 22H2).
• Microsoft Office 2016 and 2019 suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and others).
• Visual Studio 2015.
• Various versions of Skype for Business and Exchange Server.
Ending support means these products will no longer receive important updates, including security patches. Users and organizations are advised to update their software to newer versions in advance to ensure stable and secure operation.
