Turkmen business expands the segment of domestic detergents
17.03.2021 | 23:11 |Turkmen companies are demonstrating their wide-ranging potential at an exhibition in Ashgabat on the 13th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country. At the show, companies presented their developments, products and services in a variety of areas, from electronics to green technologies.
Attention is also drawn to a segment, which was quickly developed by Turkmen entrepreneurs, such as detergents and household chemicals. Moreover, the number and types of these domestic products of everyday demand are constantly growing.
The Individual Enterprise “Türkmen berk-metal”, a well-known in the Turkmen market manufacturer of detergents, washing cleaning, bleaching and unclogging products, is also exhibiting its goods at the exhibition. These are stain removers, liquid cleaners and detergents for surfaces, antibacterial disinfectants, etc.
The enterprise, established in 2019, is located in the Akhal Region and is designed to produce annually 50 thousand tons of high-quality detergents that meet international quality standards.

- Currently we produce detergents such as “Sun”, “Emay”, “Sar” for manual and automatic washing, which are available in different weights. They are designed for washing textiles made of dyed cotton, linen and synthetic fibers in water of different densities, says Rakhat Yagdyev, a specialist at “Türkmen berk-metal” IE.
The enterprise has established the export of household chemicals to countries such as Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates.
The company also presented an ecological novelty - laundry powders safe for human health and the environment for white and colored linen under the brands “Arýa” and “Ari”. Along with these, the company began to produce the antibacterial agent “Arýa”.
According to the specialist, the enterprise plans to launch the production of new goods, the quality control of which will also be carried out in the central laboratory established at the production facility.

The exhibition was also attended by “Argysh” IE which has been operating since 2005, and is producing about 80 types of soaps.

- We are presenting a new soap for both children and adults at this exhibition. These are “Gülaýym”, “Yess”, as well as “Perliss” developed on the basis of local raw material - the medicinal plant Harmala, enterprise director Isa Novruzaliev says.
In the same segment, the companies “Şatumar”, “Täç hil”, “Türkmeniň rysgaly”, “Şaterne” also presented their “clean” products.

Increasing per capita income, raising public awareness of the importance of proper hygiene, investing in research and development of new and better cleaning products are all elements that contribute to the quantitative and qualitative growth of this industry in Turkmenistan.
