Malay–Bagtyyarlyk Pipeline Supplied 3.77 Billion Cubic Meters of Gas to China
21.10.2025 | 17:25 |In the first nine months of this year, natural gas exports through the Malay–Bagtyyarlyk pipeline reached a record level, significantly exceeding planned targets.
During the reporting period, 3.77 billion cubic meters of “blue fuel” were delivered to the People’s Republic of China, which is 997.17 million cubic meters more than planned, representing 135% of the target.
These figures reflect not only the success of the gas sector but also the implementation of the national strategy aimed at ensuring the country’s energy security and expanding international cooperation.
Since the beginning of the year, 22,791 tons of gas condensate have been produced, exceeding the planned figure by 1,902 tons, or 109% of the target.
The development of Turkmenistan’s energy industry is being carried out within the framework of large-scale national projects, including the drilling of new wells, reconstruction of existing ones, and construction of new gas pipeline systems. These initiatives contribute both to the country’s economic growth and the strengthening of international partnerships.
The successful operation of deposits in Lebap Province demonstrates the growing energy potential of Turkmenistan. The continuous increase in natural gas export volumes reinforces the country’s position in the global energy market and confirms its status as a reliable partner.
