Oriented on making people closer

On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding classic of Turkmen literature Magtymguly Fragi, with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kyrgyzstan, a collection of poems by the poet in the Kyrgyz language was published.

The collection entitled “Magtymguly: Favorites” includes 66 works by the poet. Thanks to the new publication, the Kyrgyz-speaking audience will be able to get acquainted with Magtymguly’s work in their native language.

In addition, the “Turkmenfilm” Association named after Oguzkhan, with the assistance of the Turkmen diplomatic mission, prepared the documentary film “Magtymguly in the memory of the world”. Filming took place in Kyrgyzstan.

During May 2024, the film, dubbed into the Kyrgyz language, will be broadcast on the republic’s TV channels “TV-15”, “Region”, “7-Channel”, “MANAS TV”, “UTRK” and “Madaniýat TV”.

The documentary film about the life and work of the greatest Turkmen poet contains the most valuable information, historical facts and interviews with the Kyrgyz scientific intelligentsia.
