An Olympiad in mathematics and physics was held among schoolchildren, organized by the Turkmen Agricultural University
22.04.2025 | 12:45 |On April 16-17, the final round of the Mathematics and Physics Olympiad among schoolchildren of Turkmenistan was held, organized by the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov.
This Olympiad, organized in accordance with the Concept of Improving the Teaching of Natural and Exact Sciences in Turkmenistan and the Concept of Developing the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan, was held in 3 stages.
The first stage of the competition was held in early April in schools in the etraps and cities, where 3 outstanding students from each etrap and city earned the right to participate in the 2nd stage.
The 2nd round of the competition was held on April 8 via live video. More than 600 students from the velayats, Ashgabat city and Arkadag city of Turkmenistan participated in it. In this round, students demonstrated their knowledge of mathematics and physics using digital education systems, and the most distinguished ones earned the right to participate in the final round.
The final 3rd round of the Olympiad was held in the library of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov. In this round, participants were presented with 7 problems. They were given 180 minutes to solve them. The winners were determined by the total number of points scored in the final round. They were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
