Oriented on making people closer

At the invitation of the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh, the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, will undertake a state visit to Mongolia from June 1st to 2nd, 2025.

This visit will mark the first state visit by a President of Turkmenistan to Mongolia since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992. It serves as a reciprocal visit following the state visit of the President of Mongolia to Turkmenistan in 2024.

During the visit, official negotiations are scheduled between President Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh of Mongolia and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan. It is anticipated that the heads of state will exchange views on matters pertaining to the further expansion and development of friendly relations and cooperation, as well as discuss pertinent issues of regional and international policy, as reported on the website of the President of Mongolia.

Turkmenistan and Mongolia established diplomatic relations on April 23, 1992.
