Cooperation in the field of AI: UAE Ambassador speaks at the International Oil and Gas University
28.05.2025 | 18:07 |On May 27, 2025, the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev hosted a seminar on the topic "Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates: Cooperation in the Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the Oil and Gas Sector".
The event was conducted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Turkmenistan, Ahmed Al Hameli. The seminar took place in the conference hall of the university's Center for Information Technologies, gathering the rector, faculty, and students from the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity, as well as staff members of the UAE Embassy.
During his address, Ambassador Ahmed Al Hameli shared his country's experience in implementing artificial intelligence in the scientific and educational sphere and the oil and gas sector. He emphasized that the UAE actively trains in AI from an early age and successfully integrates it into the energy industry with the participation of both global and local companies, which is already yielding significant results.
The Ambassador also presented leading universities in the UAE and expressed readiness for cooperation in the fields of science and education. Following his presentation, students and faculty members were able to ask questions, which were answered in detail.
In conclusion, both sides underscored the importance of further strengthening the friendly ties between Turkmenistan and the UAE, particularly in the area of developing and implementing artificial intelligence technologies.
