British rock singer Ozzy Osbourne has died

British rock musician Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at the age of 76. According to Report, this was announced in a statement by the family of one of the founders of the band Black Sabbath.

"It is with a pain difficult to express in words that we announce our beloved Ozzy Osbourne passed away this morning," the statement reads.

Osbourne's death comes just 16 days after he performed a farewell concert in Birmingham. During that performance, members of the classic Black Sabbath lineup—guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward—joined him on stage for the first time in 20 years.

In 2023, Osbourne announced his retirement from touring due to declining health, stemming from a spinal injury sustained in 2019. In 2020, Osbourne publicly disclosed his battle with Parkinson's disease for the first time. Throughout his career, spanning over half a century, Osbourne performed more than 2,500 concerts.
