Oriented on making people closer

The International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will be commissioned in Ashgabat on Knowledge and Student Youth Day, September 1. This was discussed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which President Serdar Berdimuhamedov summed up the government's work for the first eight months of this year.

During the meeting, the head of state particularly noted the importance of the new university for the country's development. In connection with the upcoming opening, the President of Turkmenistan asked Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to take part in the ceremony.

The opening of the university will be part of a large-scale celebration of the beginning of the new academic year. On the same day, an additional educational building of the State Institute of Energy will open its doors in the city of Mary, and new schools and kindergartens will open throughout the country.

These events highlight the successful dynamics of the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan. During the reporting period, the country's GDP growth rate was 6.3%. In the first eight months of 2025, a number of large industrial and social facilities were commissioned, which indicates the systematic implementation of state programs.
