The Ambassador Turkmenistan to Ireland presented his credentials and held a number of meetings in Dublin
28.08.2025 | 14:35 |This week, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Ireland (with residence in London) Yazmurat Seryaev was on a working visit to Dublin, where he held a number of meetings with representatives of the Irish Foreign Ministry.
As part of the visit, on August 25, the Ambassador presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Head of the Protocol Department of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland Ralph Victor. The Irish side congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to this responsible post and confirmed its readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in his mission. The diplomats expressed mutual interest in developing friendly relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.
On August 26, Ambassador Seryaev held another important meeting - with Deputy Director of Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ireland Fiona Nic Donncha and Director General of Global Ireland and the Economic Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Colm Hayes. During the negotiations, key areas for developing cooperation were discussed in detail.
The parties paid special attention to expanding cooperation in the political, trade and economic spheres, as well as in promising areas such as renewable energy and education. Issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Ireland within the framework of international organizations were also discussed.
During the meetings, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan informed his Irish colleagues in detail about the peaceful foreign policy pursued by his country and the current successes in economic development. The talks confirmed the mutual desire to strengthen the partnership and take relations to a new, higher level.
