Oriented on making people closer

Today, a telephone conversation took place between National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who visited the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation on a working visit, and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

Vladimir Putin, noting the importance of the XVI International Economic Forum "Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2025", expressed sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people for participating in this high-level meeting and, taking the opportunity, conveyed warm greetings and best wishes to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The head of the Khalk Maslakhaty, congratulating President Vladimir Putin on the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, expressed gratitude for the invitation to take part in the forum in Kazan and conveyed the best wishes from the President of Turkmenistan, TDH reports.

During the conversation, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction that relations between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation, based on the principles of friendship, trust and mutual understanding, are developing dynamically in various areas, and emphasized the importance of continuing an active interstate dialogue.

Bilateral political and diplomatic relations are also actively developing. Our countries effectively cooperate within the framework of regional and international organizations.

In this regard, the parties expressed confidence that Turkmen-Russian relations will be consistently strengthened for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
