Oriented on making people closer

A scientific and practical conference dedicated to the development of mass, professional and student sports, as well as physical culture and sports education was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.

The meeting was attended by coaches and specialists in the relevant field, the teaching staff of the Institute, as well as prize-winners of international competitions and young athletes, said Chemen Bayramova, a teacher of the sports university, in a comment for the official press.

The speakers stressed the importance of the personal example of famous athletes who form the spirit of sports leadership among university students and the desire to conquer new heights.

Coaches and representatives of the sports movement noted that youth sports tournaments are gaining popularity in Turkmenistan. Thanks to them, the effectiveness of identifying and selecting the most gifted young men and women who have the makings to become future stars of Turkmen sports increases.

Special attention at the conference was also paid to the creation of sports infrastructure in all regions of Turkmenistan to ensure an uninterrupted chain of competitions of various levels and the preparation of athletes for domestic, regional and international competitions.
