The youth national football team of Turkmenistan (under 23) won a landslide victory over the Chinese team in a friendly match.

The meeting, which took place at the training camp in Dalian (China), ended with a score of 2:0. The player of FC Arkadag Meylis Durdyev opened the match in the 51st minute. After 20 minutes, the football player of "Altyn Asyr" Nurmurad Roziev doubled the advantage of the Turkmen team.

During the training camps in China, the youth national team is scheduled to hold another friendly meeting.

Recall that the youth football team of Turkmenistan is preparing for the qualifying matches of the Asian Cup – 2024. From August 27 to September 4, it holds training camps in the Chinese city of Dalian.

The youth national team of Turkmenistan, headed by Ahmed Agamuradov, includes 23 players representing different clubs of the championship of Turkmenistan.

From September 6 to 12, the youth national team of Turkmenistan will take part in the qualifying round of the Asian Cup – 2024, which will be held in Indonesia in a centralized format. Turkmenistan got into group "K" together with Indonesia and Chinese Taipei.

The winner of the group, as well as the four best second–place teams, will qualify for the final part of the Asian Cup 2024, which will be held next year in Qatar.

Qatar, as the host of the final tournament, received a direct ticket to the Asian Cup.
