Kazakhstan implements summer restrictions on cargo transport movement
03.06.2025 | 11:45 |Effective June 1st, Kazakhstan will introduce summer restrictions on the movement of cargo transport vehicles.
These restrictions will be in effect from June 1st to August 31st in the southern and western regions of the country, and from June 1st to August 15th in the northern and eastern regions.
The restrictions will apply during daytime hours when air temperatures exceed +25 degrees Celsius. The primary reason for implementing these measures is to prevent damage to road surfaces. During hot weather, asphalt becomes susceptible to deformation under heavy loads, which can lead to the formation of ruts and potholes.
