Turkmen Delegation Discusses Industrial Cooperation at International Meetings in Dushanbe
05.06.2025 | 09:25 |On June 4, 2025, a Turkmen delegation led by Minister of Industry and Construction Materials Toyguly Nuryyev took part in a meeting of the CIS Council on Industrial Policy and the first consultative meeting of industry ministers of Central Asian countries in Dushanbe.
According to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Tajikistan, the CIS Council meeting addressed topics such as the digitalization of production, the introduction of new technologies, development of cooperation, enhancement of product competitiveness, and promotion of goods to foreign markets.
The Central Asian ministers discussed ways to deepen regional cooperation, launch joint projects, attract investment, and expand industrial infrastructure.
In his address, Nuryyev outlined Turkmenistan’s priorities, including the modernization of industrial enterprises, growth in the production of construction materials, adoption of advanced technologies, and economic diversification.
As part of the visit, Nuryyev held a bilateral meeting with Tajikistan’s Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir. The two sides discussed cooperation prospects and reaffirmed their readiness to implement joint projects.
